Promises, Promises

| Based upon Oscar winning movie, "The Apartment", this show offered us Jerry Orbach, in his pre "Law and Order" days, singing and dancing to the then popular Burt Bacharach style of music. Very contemporary, the show was a smash. The cast album is very much a thing of its time, sort of musically out-dated which is why, perhaps this show isn't brought back all that much. Orbach was the reason to see this. |
